About Us

The social heart of the community

Welcome to the Bearspaw Lifestyle Centre, a non-profit community center that offers a wide range of recreational, social, and educational programs for people of all ages. Our permanent residents include the Bearspaw Preschool and the Creative Expressions Dance Academy. In addition, we have various facilities available for rent, including a gymnasium, banquet hall, dance studio, Homestead Room, two meeting rooms, and a newly renovated upstairs studio and kitchen. Come and join us for a fun and fulfilling experience!

The Bearspaw Lifestyle Centre is the social heart of our Community offering a space to connect people. The Bearspaw Association and it's volunteers work hard to create gatherings we know the community enjoys.  

 

Our facilities are available to rent for any of your events. We can accomodate many types of events, celebrations, & gatherings, to host your for your family, friends, sports teams and more.

The Gymnasium is now open for drop-in Pickleball when available, check the website to book and see availablility. The Banquet Hall has an attached kitchen, bar and a stage. The stage has projector and screen for movies or presentations and is equipment with an audio & light  system for dances.

The two Dance Studios have mirrors across one wall. The Homestead Room is home to our Create Space Wednesdays and Thursdays for kids to let their minds be creative.

 

We have two Meeting Rooms, one boardroom style and one in the upstairs kitchen.

It takes a wide range of skills, talents, and heart to keep a community association thriving. From dedicated board members providing leadership and governance, to contractors and instructors delivering programs and services, to volunteers supporting events, fundraising initiatives, and casino fundraisers — every role plays an important part. We welcome people with diverse backgrounds, including finance, marketing, event planning, administration, facilities maintenance, coaching, communications, and community engagement. Whether you can offer professional expertise or simply a few hours to help at an event, there’s a place for you to contribute and make a meaningful impact.​​​
